Springbourne Homes chairman Adrian Burr broke out the bubbly to celebrate the award-winning firm’s move into its stylish, new headquarters in historic Market Bosworth, Leicestershire.
The four times ‘House Builder of the Year’ has created an impressive 2,000 sq ft, custom-designed office space in a sustainable, eco-friendly building at the picturesque Market Bosworth Marina in Carlton Road.
Chairman Adrian Burr says it’s been worth the wait, though, with the firm’s new base superbly equipped with a boardroom, executive offices and a large open plan area incorporating a Design Centre for customers.
He said: “We’re delighted as our new office puts us in the heart of the community in an area which has always been a very important part of our business.
“It’s a tremendous location in a sustainable eco building alongside the Ashby canal with the benefit of panoramic, countryside views giving us a light, bright and quiet working environment.
“What’s more, our Hornsey Rise development is just five minutes away and our new, in-house Design Centre allows us to guide clients through all the important decisions concerning their new home.
“Buyers can go through all the options regarding fixtures and fittings, including their choice of kitchen and bathrooms, allowing them to enjoy a real input into the interior look and feel of the property.
“They can even enjoy a computer-generated, virtual tour of their new home before it’s even completed as we strive to make buying a Springbourne home a relaxed, enjoyable and involved experience which ensures the best possible outcome for our customers.”
Springbourne actually sealed the deal for their impressive new HQ back in February but Covid restrictions have meant they couldn’t re-design, equip and open their new home until now.
The stylish, timber clad, eco office building sits in the heart of the Marina and uses sustainable energy to provide underfloor heating, with filtered canal water pumped through underfloor pipes to heat and cool the office.
Springbourne chief executive Lee Harris says sustainability and flexibility are also key elements of the company’s approach to building homes to cater for the demands of the 21st century, especially the dramatic rise in people working from home because of the threat of Covid 19.
He explained: “Our Marina office delivers us our own agile ‘home’ where we can work flexibly from private offices or at open plan desks, where we can hold meetings in the boardroom, in comfy sofas or even alfresco on our decked balcony – all in the heart of our established customer base.
“Our Springbourne homes are also designed to be agile and flexible, all carefully designed around the complex and changing needs of families and professionals, many of whom are changing their working behaviour in line with changing circumstances.
“I’m sure anyone who visits our current £20m Hornsey Rise site in Wellsborough near Market Bosworth will immediately see that working from home has never looked so good.”
Springbourne Homes has already built up an impressive portfolio of developments in the Market Bosworth area including outstanding sites in Sibson, Sheepy Parva, Carlton and Norton Juxta and the firm is confident the £20m ten acre Hornsey Rise development will be the jewel in the crown of its collection.
