Award-winning Warwickshire building firm Springbourne Homes has sealed a deal with one of the UK’s top kitchen manufacturers to supply its prestige Hornsey Rise site.
The four times Daily Express ‘House Builder of the Year’ winner has commissioned JT Ellis in Yorkshire to provide top of the range kitchens for the 19 luxury homes on the £20m development in Wellsborough, near Market Bosworth in Leicestershire.
Huddersfield-based JT Ellis have supplied bespoke furniture to London’s iconic department store Harrods and famously made the wings for the Spitfire fighter planes in World War II so today’s announcement is a timely one, as the nation commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Springbourne Homes chairman Adrian Burr said: “I’m very aware that landing this deal coincides with the nation commemorating the Battle of Britain and the role that the Spitfire fighter plane played in it.
“We all know that the Spitfire helped Britain turn the tide in World War Two but it’s not so well known that it was JT Ellis who built the wings for it, so I’m confident this is a partnership that can really take off.
“We have a lot in common. We are both family-run companies with a real attention to detail and a focus on delivering a top quality product so it’s a perfect match.
“What’s more our Hornsey Rise home owners will have a fascinating tale to tell about their new kitchens and the proud history of the company that delivered them.
“We’re excited that we’ll be able to show them off in our show homes at Hornsey Rise very soon.”
