Our multi-award-winning Hornsey Rise site has just been showcased in a four-page feature article in the latest edition of the highly respected Housebuilder & Developer Magazine.

The informative feature was written by the magazine’s Deputy Editor Jack Wooler after a thorough interview with Springbourne’s Chief Executive Lee Harris.

The pair covered all aspects of the development process from the quality and intimacy of the build, the inspiration and history behind the site, along with our innovative design ideas and ecological solutions.

CEO Lee explained that Springbourne’s vision for the site “intended to be a counter to the typically bland, new build housing developments of late” and that it was “important for us to understand that luxury is experienced with every connection, whether it be opening a door, sliding your hand up the hand-built staircase, or simply sinking your feet into the deep pile carpets.”

Harris went on to say that Hornsey Rise is an “extremely successful project overall, winning a number of local and national awards and quickly selling off-plan.

“This is because there are 16 different house types across the site, including a refurbished 1930s chapel, paying homage to our expert craftmanship and design capabilities.

“The idyllic location and historical significance of the site also helped our cause, directly being linked to five English kings and even appearing in the Doomsday Book.

Chairman Adrian Burr was “thrilled to see the development getting the coverage and recognition it deserves, in our most challenging couple of years in the industry, caused by the ongoing Covid Pandemic.”
